Nu:Tone - Shine In (featuring Natalie Williams)

The first 12 release from Nu:Tones forthcoming album, Words +
Pictures sees the man otherwise known as Dan Gresham collaborate with
Ronnie Scotts regular and MOBO nominee Natalie Williams on the fantastic
Shine In. Dan also links up with Hospital signed, younger brother
Logistics on the flip. Two superb vocal-led cuts which act as a
delicious appetizer to the full length album which will be dropping at
the end of February.
Shine In was debuted as a live PA with leading soul/jazz star Natalie
Williams at the D&B Arena Awards 2010. As anyone who was in
attendance will testify the mesmerizing vocal hook, punchy breaks and
warm, rising energy of this incredible tune makes for a breathtaking
experience. A gentle building intro segues into the main tune with all
the technical prowess you expect from Nu:Tone, making this arguably one
of the best vocal cuts on Hospital ever!
Over on the flip, Dan teams up with younger brother Matt, for Bleeper -
an onomatopoeic slice of liquid loveliness. A nod to their recent
Nu:Logic collaborative project, the rippling rhythms and dreamy melodies
of Bleeper dance around a deep bassline, until a robotic vocal disturbs
the proceedings. Hypnotic, elegant and with real depth, this is one to
get completely lost in a sublime offering that all true Hospital fans
will relish.
