Nocturn gives you instant hands-on control of your plug-in instruments and FX. Nocturn comes with Novation's Automap control software, which allows you to take instant control of your plug-ins by just clicking on your software and touching a knob or button!

Laptop DJ Controller

The crossfader has made Nocturn a favourite amongst laptop DJs. you can assign the buttons to cue and loop points, and use the knobs to control EQ or DJ effects.

Nocturn has become a favourite with laptop DJs. It is ultra-portable and lightweight and it has a central crossfader. Its layout lends itself to either 2 sides of EQ levels and cuts, as well as filtering, phasing and beat-mashing effects.

You can instantly 'learn' all the controls to parameters in Ableton, and flick between different 'pages' of controls. This allows the knobs and buttons to control of unlimited things in your DJ software. (Traktor support will be coming soon.)

LED ringed encoders and back-lit LED buttons ensure that you can see what you are controlling in darkened clubs and venues.

See exactly what you're controlling

Nocturn comes with Automap control software. The software edit page graphically shows the entire control surface, with every control labelled, on your computer monitor.

So, you can see exactly what is assigned to what with all the names and the values of each software parameter, labeled underneath the knob or button.

The 9th 'Speed Dial' knob is found on Novation controllers. It allows you to take instant control of anything that your mouse/cursor is positioned over. So you can get your hands onto any software parameter without any assigning at all!

If you suddenly need detailed control of a level or effect-send whilst performing, just point the mouse and grab the Speed Dial.
